2 minggu Di amerika

2 weeks in us. Alhamdulillah we survive. Haha.. Bunyi over.. Org lain bleh je survive.. We went to a university with no malaysIan in, it really is a test. I am writing this because i am so grateful that Allah helped us through this...

For now, what have i learned?
1. Berpakaian mengikut syariat itu penting! Sangat! Dgn cara Berpakaian lah kita bleh cari geng..Muslim.. Klu x, sgt confuse.. Tgk nama pun macam tak caya je itu Muslim.

2. Smile is the best language.. Apa yg bezanya saya disini Dgn Di Malaysia ialah disini saya jalan pandang dpn n senyum Dan Di Malaysia saya jalan pandang bawah. Dulu pemalu x kira tempat.. Senyum tu kan sedekah! Should be practicing this in Malaysia.

3. Spread salam! Sini, pantang jumpa orang islam je nak bagi salam!! Happy x kira.. Kat Malaysia susah betul Nk bg salam padahal ramai sgt org Islam Kat Malaysia.. Nk bagi salam bila Nk masuk rumah je.

4. Org amurika ni mmg peramah.. Jumpa Senyum, ckp how are you, nice to meet u, have a nice day... Just mungkin Kami ni pakai tudung, mereka Yg x biasa Tgk tu pandang macam nak makan.. Dan susah jugak Nk cari kawan sbb mereka x berani tegur Kami.

5. Apepun, saya tetap bangga menjadi anak Malaysia sbb for them, perempuan seperti Kami ni kuat Dan tabah! Bleh pulak terkejut dgr Kami tidur atas comforter waktu blum beli katil. Sedangkan Kat Malaysia, itu x de Apa pun. N for them.. It is amazing to live off-campus untuk Yg baru first time sampai US. Sedangkan seronok je..

6. Pengajaran paling penting ialah, banyakkan TANYA! Sbb klu x, rugi sangat. Byk benda Yg lebih mudah klu kita bertanya. for example, klu x tahu, we are paying for something that is actually free.

7. Kenapa pakai tudung? Dan Kenapa ade org Islam Yg x pakai. Dah biasa Dah Dgn soalan tu. Semua org ade reason sendiri. My answer secara ringkasnya, " for example, a doctor asks his patients to take the medication everyday. Some do follow the the instruction but some not. The medication is for our own good. Not for the doctor. Same goes to the Muslims.. God asks us to do something is for our own good. He knows what best for us as he is the one who created us. Some do practice the Islamic law and Some dont. The donts are the one will regret if he dont repent. It does not affecting the God at all.

However, Byk je benda Kat Sini Yg x elok..tp, who cares kan... Amil Yg jernih, buang Yg keruh! :)

a revert friend

Alhamdulillah, Allah has sent me someone to wake me up. He sent me a newly reverted muslim lady from Mauritius. currently studying in inti.

to know and be friend with a newly reverted muslim makes us feel stupid if we dont appreciate our own religion. we get it so easily until we dont bother to learn more about islam. when we see how determined and hard they seek knowledge to understand Islam better, tried to ask back yourself, "why am i not that determined?"

when we see how they are convinced that Islam is the true religion, and don't mind to stand the tests, opposed by family and friends, why,we are not as strong as that to practice the teachings of Islam?

what makes us dont want or maybe too lazy to learn and understand islam? is it because we are in the comfort zone,'i am already a muslim, what else i need to know?' ? or is it because we are too confident that if we die, we ll surely enter jannah?

 if so, think again.again.and again.

my fear!

one of the worst thing is when you saw your friend doing something wrong and you dont know how to bring him back to the right path,, and its getting worse when you keep on talking bad things about him without any effort to give a reminder to him..

and the worst part is when one day you end up doing the same mistake as your friend did while perhaps he had repented and turned to Allah.. and maybe at that time, no one cares to remind you of the ayah of Allah and you keep on doing bad things without realizing it,...and you die in the state of sinning..

beware,, life is a cycle.. give reminders for you yourself and the others.
