Facebook just reminded me of a post I made three years ago.. wow,, how time flies...
I was walking in the Walmart,(perhaps my face was just too serious), suddenly I heard a voice.
"Smile young lady!"
I started to smile, then he asked,
"You're a Muslim?"

"Assalamualaikum"
Waalaikumussalam warahmatullah
Waalaikumussalam warahmatullah
"You go to the Mosque?"
Yes
Yes
"You go for Jum'ah?"
Yes.
Yes.
"That's good. Come on. Why are you not smiling? Smile. Be grateful that we are blessed. Smile. Say Alhamdulillah."
I said "Alhamdulillah" while smiling, and continue walking.
He's American, working there. And he was wearing the kufi.
What a proud Muslim I just met.
He's right. 'Why am I not smiling?'
