Happiness?

It is so tear-dropping to listen to the talk by nouman Ali Khan about this ayyah (57:20)

This ayyah is telling us that in this world, each n every happiness and fun that we are searching for are just for a short moment. It ll never last! Since we were babies, we are searching for fun! What babies and kids like? They want to play! As we grow a little older, we start to search for entrtainment! Like gamess, movies.. Then, we love beauty.after that, we love showing off what we have and as we grow older, we want financial stability.

Look! Cant you see, our happiness that we want, switches as the time past.

Like in the ayyah, Allah says the happiness in the world is just like a farmer waiting for rain. But end up, the plants are all turns yellow.

Do u know how a farmer works? Most of then are not that wealthy. They will get their gain at the end of the year only if they really gets. Firstly, what do a farmer do? They plant seeds. Then? He will be waiting for RAIN to fall so the seeds turn green! The moment he is waiting, do you know how worry and excited he is? Everyday he ll keep on praying and hoping so the rain will drop. and when it is really raining, they will be so excited and starts imagining of their profits, sellings, money and everything else.

It is not stopping there..but lets take a look in our real life.. Have you seen a kid looking at a toy? Before he tells you that he want it, he is actually imagining holding and playing happily with the toy.. All the joyful moment with the toy is now playing in his mind. then, he tells his mama, "i want that!" when his mama says no, he starts screaming and jumping around hoping so his mama would buy it. He might say, "i ll do anything but you mus but that toy!"
. And his mum bought it but asking him to not open it until They get home. All time in car you can see him holding the toy tightly and Cant stop looking to it.

And after they arrive home, he quickly open the toy, and play with it about 3hours and where do you think the toy is the next day? He ll say, "i dont know, that thing is so boring"

See, that is how fake happiness is.. It wont last! Back to the story of the farmer, after he can imagine how much money he ll be earning, but soon he can see his plantation are all turned YELLOW, dry and DIE. !

Fake happiness is like that you will be happy to get what you want but then, you will search for something else.. You are searching for more and more fun that only makes you happy just at one short while. And one day, you ll find it is stupid to do what you are doing today.

That is why we need to find the true happiness. It is from Allah! Remember, only by finding Allah u ll find the real happiness! So, stop seeking pleasure that you know will definately will drag you away from Allah!
