7 thoughts of mine.

MasyaAllah, i was in Indiana... Northwest Indiana Islamic center. Had a program there..

My Random thoughts are :

1. People have different opinions. It doesnt matter what you stand for, if it is something you think right, be confident, do not get easily blend in with others just because you think you must be wrong when you find no one is with you. Sometimes, when you are arguing with everybody, might open up their mind. You might be right. Stand for what you think is right and worth being stubborn. Make sure you are still with your opinion is because you really believe it is right and not because you want to looked great! Not just about your ego. But in case at one point you have no more reason to stay at what you fight for, be humble, it is okay to switch to the other. Fight with Principe. Don't let your ego to fight for nothing when you are convinced that your earlier opinion is valid no more. May Allah grant us strength to stand for what is right and protect us from useless debate.

2. You have no idea about your friends. You might think they are your best friend but you have no idea of what they do in your absence. Worst friend is when back bite you secretly without making any effort to let you know where to fix. Be grateful when people correct you because at least you know where you did wrong rather than telling anyone else your bad without you having a chance to fix it. That is why in Islam, correct people is not a sin but a good deed. While back biting is not allowed and even mentioned in the quran the prohibition. So, make sure you make a right response to your friend's mistakes. Be just to them. May Allah send us noble friends and make us one of them.

3. Force your self. Live correctly isn't easy. When you know that life is more than just making money and good education, do something that you are not living your life that way. Seriously. When we say we believe in something, we ll act immediately, right? Just like some one is saying that there is fire in the building you are in, you ll save your self immediately, agree? So, when we believe that we have mission in life, what is stopping from doing so? Allah ask us to use time wisely, why are we still wasting our time doing unproductive activities? When Allah asks us to spread the message about Islam. What message are we actually spreading? Don't we believe in the day where we ll be questioned about everything we did in this life? Then why don't act like what we believe?
May Allah protect us from this confusion and bless us with strength to act according our words.

4. Islam should humble us down but why are we up to ego? Sign of having ego are - feeling oppressed when ever advised by someone we think standing lower than us. Unhappy when our ideas are rejected especially in religious issues. Feeling like we understand Islam better than others do and stress so much that why everyone is not understanding it like you did. We forget that every results is from Allah. We are not supposed to stress when the result is coming out not like what we want. We just do what we can work on our best, and let the result to the almighty. We are not responsible for that. Not matter the outcome is positive or negative, you should not feel like you are responsible for that! Everything is from Allah, don't feel proud when your effort works. It is not from you! It is from Allah! Take care of your heart. May Allah safeguard us from the sick heart and egoism.

5. If you do things because of Allah, really you ll never affected by praises nor objections. When you do things like helping people, delivering a good message, or what should ever, and some one came to you and say something, you shouldn't feel any thing... What do we want to achieve at the first place? If really what we want to find is Allah's love, and you do it, you ll get it immediately.. And then someone came to you and talk angrily that they are not satisfied with what you have done, you should not care! I ve get what i want. So what with what they feel about me? Same goes to when people started to praise you. You should not want to hear it! You don't care what they think, so you don't need their praise sometimes we should feel the praises are actually hurting us! It increases our ego, do tell them.. " I don't want your praise, i need your du'a for me. And i am serious. "
May Allah bless us with sincere heart.

6. When you read of listen to reminders, don't just cry or feeling ouch or dush! Do something to prove that the reminder does really affected you. I feel so stupid when i am so emotionally success listening to lectures, but when the lecture end, i change nothing. I must realize that i am not watching a movie or drama! This lectures should make me move! But when i don't, i am the one who fool my self. I said i want to attend program or the listen to Islamic lectures to gain knowledge. So, i get it. But why do i want that knowledge so badly? What can knowledge to for me? The only purpose of knowledge is for us apply! Just like why do we need a car when we don't want to ride or buying food but don't want to eat? Idiot! So, knowledge should make us change from bad to good, good to better, better to best, best to the best! May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge.

7. Have Allah is in heart. Have you ever wonder, why people cant talk about Allah often or why cant we relate Allah with what is happening around us? Okay, lets talk about fun thing. Have you ever fall in love? Even if he or she is not in front of you, you keep on thinking about him/her. You heard a music and say to your self, "ohh this song is do reminding me of him.. He used to sing this song."
And you see a cup, "man, he used to say this color is cute." And you went to a place," he said he wish to come to this place" and bla bla bla... Ever happen? Even the song is not for you anyway but still reminds you of him. Just the same way when we love Allah! We ll remember what Allah wants to listen to, we know what He like and what He don't like... We ll remember Him anyway! We can relate everything to Him. We know He created this, and destroyed that, planned this and hold that. Make sense? May Allah grant us a peace heart that always in the state of remembering him always and may we love Him and He loves us!
